Rawlife Theatre Company, are back at OMAC following their 2007 sell-out performance
of What the Butler Saw and the hugely successful Dealer's Choice earlier this year.
Female Parts promises to be lewd, crude and great fun!
Sharon wants to stick her
head in the oven, she’s a housewife held prisoner in her own home by a possessive
husband, and she has the unwelcome attention of a young boy turned love sick maniac
(with whom she had a secret affair – but she’s trying to forget that).
Can things
get any worse? – Yes! The brother–in-law, who is obsessed with pornographic books,
is wheeled in in plaster cast for her to care for, his only plaster free body part
being his groping, handy hand!
Female Parts is a feast of controversial plays by
Italy’s best known playwrights Dario Fo and Franca Rame. Rich in passion and comedy
routines, mime and rude humour, these sparkling pieces are certain to amuse and
charm audiences as they make their Irish Debut.
EARLY BOOKING ADVISED!
